Throughout history immigrants were and still are the biggest part of the population of the United States of America. Even if many people think I'm not an immigrant. Of course you are no anymore but at some point in your family you came here as long as you're not a Native american. At some point of your families history they imigrated to the US. Wether it was for political, religious or other issues in the former homecountry or for because the opportunity seemed to be a big luck in America and the decision was to look for the american dream. To start a better life in a different country. Throughout the history with more and more people coming into the country certain rights changed and when in the beginning there were still so many rights for every immigrant that later changed and for certain groups like the chinese but also for any other group coming from europe, from asia, etc. there were rights given and taken away.
